To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
At New Song, we want to see people move beyond Sunday morning, and continue to grow. Our Equip classes are designed to help people who attend our church become better prepared to lead and thrive in three key areas:
We want to help you know God and better understand what His word says about you. Beyond knowing God, we want to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to walk out His truth in your daily life.
Equip Night Sessions are stand alone two hour tracks where you can pick from three different available options - see below for this sessions options.
Dinner is available for purchase for both adults and children at time of class registration.

Raising Justice Minded Kids: Teaching Kids to Value Others
This class will be covering the hard but necessary topics such as: how to teach your kids to identify and address bias, how to understand and tackle differences, how to seek out Gods image in all His creation, how to be a leader in inclusion, and how to teach appreciation for diversity. This is not just about race, it’s not about politics, and it’s not about opinions - it’s about living out the belief that we are all created in God’s image. So how do we teach our kids to recognize and face adversity, bias, and exclusion with justice and grace? Join us to find out!
Hearing The Voice of God
One of the most essential tools in our lives that God has given us is His voice and the ability to hear Him. Without the ability to hear God, we are stunted in our own walk with Him and we are stunted in our ability to minister effectively. Join Pastor Josh as he breaks down what it means to hear God’s voice, and why it is so important to our lives.
Personality by Design: Communicating with God’s Image Bearers
Personality is a part of our reflection of the image of God, and a part of our everyday lives in how we filter communication. In God’s grand design, we see glimpses of Him in all of humanity, like little puzzle pieces reflecting a part of who He is. So why do we often find it so hard to communicate effectively with others who reflect God in a different way? In this class, we will dive into understanding how your outlook may differ from other personality types, give you the keys to understand their perspectives, and talk about how fruitful communication starts with seeing God’s unique designs in the people all around us. Whether you want to understand your spouse in a greater way, have better communication with your boss, or more effectively connect with your children, this class is for you.
