To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
At New Song, we want to see people move beyond Sunday morning, and continue to grow. Our Equip classes are designed to help people who attend our church become better prepared to lead and thrive in three key areas:
We want to help you know God and better understand what His word says about you. Beyond knowing God, we want to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to walk out His truth in your daily life.
Equip Night Sessions are stand alone two hour tracks where you can pick from four different available options - see below for this sessions options.
Dinner is available for purchase for both adults and children at time of class registration.

A Conversation About Embracing Other Cultures
This panel-style session will feature both Pastors Josh and Sarah Blount as well as members of our church that represent different perspectives on culture, race, and identity. We will be discussing racial divides, how to be a bridge-builder, how to move forward, and how to learn from the past. We all have a stake in the Kingdom, join us as we seek to better understand our role in Godly ally-ship.
Planning for the Future
This session takes you through professionally prepared financial awareness curriculum donated to us by Strategic Financial Concepts, LLC. In this course we will cover the steps beyond debt-culture. You will gain a better understanding of investment, retirement, estate, and life planning from a certified CEP®, AIF® Strategic Consultant.
A Heart for Purity – Intentionally Parenting Pre-teens and Teenagers
Intentionally parenting pre-teens and teenagers toward a heart of purity can be difficult if you never experienced that for yourself. In this session we aim to equip you on how, when, why, and what those conversations should look like ranging from eight to 18 years old and beyond. We will also cover what culture is teaching your kids with guest speaker and certified Oklahoma sexual education teacher, pediatrician Dr. Lewis.
If you’ve ever felt like you were never enough or maybe like you are a little bit too much, this course is designed for you. Freedom from chasing the ever-elusive “enough” is possible and we want to help you get there. Join us for a biblically based course that will empower you to discover your God-given purpose, identity, and worth by breaking the cycles we find ourselves in when we either do not believe we are ever enough or taking ourselves to the breaking point to prove that we are.
